Weekly Wellness during COVID-19

Wellness during quarantine/stay at home COVID-19 order? Yes, it's possible and maybe even easier because most of us have some extra time on our hands. Here are a few things to try to implement into your daily routine:

1. Stay Positive-this is one thing we can control

2. Drink Water-add lemon to it and drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces

3. Move-try to get outside and take a walk or jog or run

4. Exercise-get your heart rate up, sweat a little~it's good mentally and physically

5. Eat Whole Foods-but also cheat a bit and support your local restaurant

6. Declutter-If you are like me I'm sure you have a closet or drawer or two or three that could used cleaned out~you'll feel great when this is done

7. Shower and get our of your jammies-okay you can spend a day or two in them because that's fun too~but also shower and dress like you are going out...that feels good too

8. Call or text a friend-reach out to someone you haven't talked to in awhile and let them know you are thinking about them and see how they are doing

9. Pray/Meditate-it's relaxing, decreases stress and keeps you positive

10. Have a virtual get together with friends/family-Zoom, Houseparty, etc.. are awesome

11. Embrace this slowness right now-we are so busy that this can be a great time to refocus and reflect on what is important
